Is it called “skid row” because all the people there have skidmarks in their undercrackers? Also: firefighting is **easy** you should try accountancy….its lethal! The paper cuts alone are terrifying.

I haven't gotten to it yet - but the moment they made that heat hole I was expecting a flashover - and when the firefighters start talking about pressurized smoke coming out and "waviness" in the smoke, it reminded me of a lot of the backdraft training videos on YT. Edit: Nope. So much worse.

I was there. It was a week before my HS graduation. My mom and dad owned the toy & hobby shop that was one of 6 businesses burned. It was caused by arson by another store owner wanting to collect insurance money.

i wonder how many people are in the comments bragging about themselves (im a ff, im a paramedic, i work here, there, done this done that etc) instead of gearing their comments about the program and injured firemen, attention seekers

Someone posing as him could be the same scammer that poses as General Eric T Hill. That scammer stole my Facebook and Google ID. Beware of any online saying that they are in Syria and widowed. He stole my ID when I was in ER being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The day before my birthday. His last comment was "I guess you only have a week to live"

Why was the emergency response so unresourceful? Besides fire and police, no special equipment was brought to the burning buildings. That’s a tragedy.

Men of Honor. Men of Courage. Men of great resolve. God bless each of you for volunteering to tackle this great Demon called FIRE. You are so well trained to conquer it. To snuff it out. To manage it. It can warm, it can illuminate, it can provide so much. But it can, and will, at every opportunity given it, DESTROY. Thank you, Men of the Nine's, for doing all of that and more. I am but a mere observer of what you did that fateful day. You lived it, and will live it the remainder of your lives. No one can take those physical wounds and mental scars away. But please know that this video you allowed to be produced has opened my eyes and heart to the dangers and levels of skill you will continue to fight for in your profession, that of an AMERICAN FIREFIGHTER. 🇺🇸👨‍🚒

This film has now confirmed to me without doubt that US firefighters are poorly trained. Firefighting techniques are very basic. Why ? Is it lack of investment or nobody really cares.

Now it's 30 years after Storm Mountain, but i still remember that day. I was riding with my crew in a filthy FS crummy down a rocky mountain road from our night shift on a fire on the Siskiyou NF in Oregon, and we were listening bleary-eyed to the radio news as the sun came up. When the newscaster mentioned 14 firefighters had died in Colorado, it was like a punch in our guts. We never met those people, but they were out brothers and sisters, and it hurt. Rest in peace, fellow firefighters- you are remembered.

I know it sounds like I don't respect the work that they did and the danger they all were in, but here in germany we firefighters wouldn't even have gone on the Roof of the building because it could collapse. In germany firefighters learn that white smoke means unburnt carbonmonoxide and cutting air vents and openings just make the situation Worse by letting air in so the fire has oxygen to burn now and all the smoke burns up like an explosion. The next thing is cuttin a hole in the side and on the top Produces a chimney effect leading even more air in the building. That's why the smoke shot out the top opening like a jet engine. The safety of every firefighter is more worth then trying to extinguish a fire as soon as poosible.

was conceived in late July 1968 weeks before tower 1 began it's journey skyward and was born 3 months after tower 2 started going up and grew up with them, It was 1976 and i was 7 yrs old and off school sick and was watching a documentary on the construction and my mind was blown when i saw them on the screen. Also i'm autistic and led a lonely childhood and even tho i had a younger estranged brother and sister, i considered the towers my brother and sister and it was my dream to go by the time i'm 30. I turned 30 in 1999 and wasn't financially stable enough to go, so i made a promise to go in 3 to 5 years, and 2 years later i watched them collapse, i couldn't believe it and my heart sank because no matter how rich or successful i become i'll never ever stand on the top of the world and that makes me so sad.

Fire fighters suck. Back the blue (red) until it happens to you (instead). Fire fighters didn't care that no one was in my little house and the only thing on fire was a laundry basket. They sat there drowning my house with water until the basement was damaged just so they didn't have to work hard 🤷. Fire fighters never risk their lives, Ive never heard of it, seen it or read about it my whole life, not even once. I'm sure good fire fighters exists but their policy and training prevent them from having a heart and common sense most of the time apparently 🤷🤦. Please don't be one of these dead beat loser fire fighters when you grow up kids and don't be a tyrant cop because God will wreck you if you do. Ask anyone old and legitimate if God is real don't ask a loser.
